![]() The weeds in any part of the Forest Farm also have a much higher drop rate for mixed seeds.įishing in the local ponds has a 45% chance of spawning Cindersap Forest pond fish and a 5% chance of spawning woodskip, a rare fish that’s necessary to complete the Community Center collection and can normally only be caught in the Secret Woods. Later on, especially when cooking and crafting, this is all super useful. It features eight renewable hardwood stumps, bushes that drop rare items, and mushrooms that grow naturally. That’s why the Forest Farm is a particularly helpful choice. Mixed seeds, berries, ferns, and hardwood can be tough to come by without taking frequent trips into the forest. There are a lot of items that will spawn around Stardew Valley’s Pelican Town and its nearby wildernesses. However, since there aren’t nearly as many trees, boulders, weeds, or even general land to work with, it might not be the best beginner farm since it’s tougher to get things off the ground at least until you’ve spoken to Willy on the beach in the southernmost part of town. Specifically, you’ll always have a 70% chance to encounter a Pelican Town river fish and 30% chance to catch a Cindersap Forest pond fish. The real benefit here is that you can spend pretty much all day catching freshwater fish. However, you can easily designate different islands to specific things, for example, growing peach trees or harvesting large quantities of coffee beans. It’s pretty thoroughly divided, and you get less farmable land in general, making it tougher to plan out a big farming compound that connects together in one spot. This one spreads your land across a series of islands connected by makeshift bridges. If you love freshwater fishing, there’s plenty to see and do in the Riverland Farm layout. But beware if you run out of large boulders and hardwood trees, since you’ll need to go to the Cindersap Forest or to the Mines to find more. It’s probably the best farm to start with, since you get a little bit of everything here. Standard Layout gives you the safest farm that also comes with the most working room, ahead of the Beach Farm and the Wilderness Farm in that order. There’s even a little pond to go fishing in, though you’ll only find trash until you unlock the Crab Pot which enables you to catch shellfish. There’s plenty of room to plan out your crops, fruit trees, and structures. If you want the most balanced experience, this is the way to go. The classic Standard Farm features the most flexible layout of them all with the most farming space and the single largest rectangular area at 63 x 31 tiles, according to the Stardew Valley wiki. ![]() Here’s everything you need to know about the game’s best farm layouts. We can’t blame you there’s a lot of ground to cover here. You probably want a second opinion anyway. That said, this Stardew Valley guide is packed full of insights about which farm layouts are the best for which types of players. If only escaping the jaws of corporate capitalism could be so simple in real life. At the very least you won’t need to re-watch the intro cutscene if you don’t want to. If you don’t like the one that you chose, simply back out to the menu and start a fresh save. Once the game has started, you can’t change layouts within the same save file. ![]() No matter which one you end up choosing - either by our recommendation or otherwise - you should immediately take a stroll around the property and feel it out for yourself. Everybody’s tastes are different, and it’s tough to know which layout suits your fancy the most until you’ve checked it out for yourself. Some layouts are better for farming, whereas others are better for fishing, foraging, or mining. ![]() Each layout is fundamentally different, none particularly “better” than the other, but each will very much affect where you place your crops, raise your chickens and cows, and even where (or if) you’ll build a couple of houses for your friends. Upon beginning a fresh save file, you are immediately confronted with the option to choose which of seven farm layouts you’ll move into. In fact, first-time movers to the quaint yet scenic Pelican Town are given several options to choose from when deciding which type of farm their late grandfather left them in his will. Fortunately for new farmers headed to Stardew Valley, the real estate market out there is pretty darn good.

There aren't many drawbacks with the V200, but the solid acrylic front panel does reduce potential airflow in the chassis somewhat. If temperatures are an issue, gamers can add additional cooling to the Thermaltake V200, with a total of 6 fans and installation points for liquid cooling radiators. If a motherboard lacks this header, users can still control the lighting with buttons on the I/O panel, accessible near the front of the case. Unlike some other cases, the fans do not have proprietary connections and are compatible with 12 V headers on motherboards from manufacturers including Asus, Gigabyte, and MSI. Sitting on a gamer's desk, the V200 also makes a statement with 3 pre-installed 120 mm RGB fans shining brilliantly through the 4 mm thick side tempered glass window. The case is large enough that even a giant Nvidia RTX 4080 graphics card can fit with a bit of room to spare. As a mid-tower case, the Thermaltake V200 can accommodate anything from mini-ITX to full ATX motherboards, and there is room enough in the chassis for up to 5 hard drives. To outrank all other budget PC cases, the Thermaltake V200 Tempered Glass Edition RGB has to excel with both build quality and compatibility with the most common motherboards. As the following list demonstrates, budget does not have to dictate what case a gamer selects, regardless of what size or style of a case a builder desires. Smaller mini-ATX solutions are appropriate for gamers who have limited desk space or are constructing a power-efficient system. Larger mid-tower and full-tower cases are more adaptable and can accommodate cooling options for increasingly hot CPUs. Accordingly, it's usually better to buy a case that's too large than too small. I found that during the process of leveling my scaffold with outriggers, some of them became very tight in the square tubes, and were difficult to adjust. They fit the square tubes in my Home Depot Pro series scaffold, as well as my older Harbor Freight scaffold, but there isn't a lot of clearance. Some people have complained they didn't fit their scaffolding, which may be because they're slightly bent. The manufacturer could have easily straightened them in a press, as I'm going to have to do, but they sent them out with a bend in them. My complaint is the threads are rolled, and during that process, some of them were bowed slightly. Solid ones would be much heavier and much more expensive. I don't know why some people are complaining about them being hollow, they're plenty strong enough for their intended use. I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 because they really needed the handles reversed and stops removed to fit well and give good support to the yellow indoor MetalTech scaffolding. I attached outriggers with leveling jacks already in them. Another way was to put a single stack tower on its side, insert and secure the leveling jacks with bungee cords and stand the tower back up. I lifted one end of a tower without the floor in it and inserted both leveling jacks and lowered the tower end onto the leveling jacks to get them in the tower legs. I was grateful these were the hollow leg leveling jacks! It saves a few minutes if you don't mind walking maybe 90 pounds. ![]() If I wanted to move a single story tower I could remove the safety rail and floor and secure the leveling jacks with bungee cords and lift the entire tower from the center and walk it to a new location. It's 30 minutes to move the tower, but that's better than tipping over a two story tower. The scaffolding sets up to two towers in 20 minutes and breaks down in 10 minutes, including safety rails, single handed. If you need leveling jacks with stacked scaffolding, you should not be rolling or even tempting yourself to roll scaffolding around that kind of ground. I would also not use the leveling jacks that allow wheels under them if you are ever stacking scaffolding above 6 feet. There are just too many places not level around the outside walls of a house to not be using leveling jacks with scaffolding! I would not buy shorter leveling jacks because it was too easy to find myself using all of the safe height of the 24 inch leveling jacks. To manage this, I pinned the top outrigger hole at the first available hole of the scaffolding, and used a clamp to secure the bottom of the outrigger near its lower hole. I painted a bright orange band just below the removed stops to remind myself not to support the scaffolding higher than the removed stops.īecause the leveling jacks are 24 inches tall, you cannot pin both holes of the outriggers to the scaffolding. The stops also kept the leveling jacks from fitting easily inside the scaffolding legs, so I gained two benefits doing this. To make them work better, I spent an hour grinding off the stops and filing the same threads so I could remove and reverse the leveling handles to give better support to the scaffolding legs. I relied on these to keep my two story scaffolding tower level, even on the back concrete porch which was not exactly level. ![]() Jack heads are always working in conjunction with Jack base to adjust scaffolding sets in a easy way.I bought these to use with the MetalTech yellow Baker style Safeclimb scaffolding so I could use the scaffolding outdoors around the house without buying additional outdoor scaffolding.
